Lunar Eclipse

Hi All

Many of you were able to enjoy the Lunar Eclipse this morning. Ryan and I went outside around 1:30 and stayed until 5 am. He got some amazing photos.

All is well here. We are having a low key christmas. The sun has finally returned to Bonaire. Ryan and I enjoyed Sorobon Beach on Sunday and hope to get some diving in this weekend. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

  1. I took these with our Nikon D5000 on 2 minute intervals between 1:30am and 5:00am on December 21st, 2010, the equinox lunar eclipse. Each moon is two minutes apart going from top to bottom. The black and white is the first of the series and shows the actual travel of the moon during those 2 minute intervals. In the other three, I moved each moon horizontally and/or vertically to eliminate overlap. I hope you enjoy them.

  2. great pictures!

  3. Very very cool. I couldn’t stay up for this…had to work the next morning. Nice to see.
